Physiotherapy Services

Headache & Migraines

Headaches and Migraines can be debilitating and often affect participation in day-to- day activities. These symptoms can be associated with the joint muscle structures around the neck. At MH Physiotherapy, we use the Watson Headache Approach to provide precise diagnosis in treatment for neck-related headache and migraine.

Dizziness & Balance

If you are living with the disorientation of dizziness or feelings of imbalance, you don’t have to simply "wait for it to pass." Dizziness is often a signal that your vestibular system—the intricate connection between your inner ear, eyes, and brain—is out of sync. Our specialized physiotherapy programs focus on Vestibular Rehabilitation, using targeted exercises to recalibrate your balance and reduce vertigo symptoms. Whether your dizziness is triggered by quick head movements, neck stiffness, or an underlying inner ear condition, we provide a thorough assessment to help you regain your stability and confidence.

Neuro-rehabiliation

Our Neurorehabilitation services are dedicated to helping individuals regain independence and movement following a neurological injury, such as a stroke or head injury. We utilize the Bobath Concept, a specialized clinical approach that focuses on the brain’s ability to adapt and rewire—known as neuroplasticity. By analyzing how your brain communicates with your muscles, we use skilled manual handling and tailored movement sequences to inhibit abnormal patterns and facilitate more natural, fluid motion. Rather than just compensatory strategies, our goal is to optimize your physical potential and improve your quality of life through a holistic, person-centered approach to recovery.

Manual Therapy

Experience the restorative benefits of expert Manual Therapy, a hands-on approach designed to improve joint mobility and reduce muscle tension. Unlike general exercise alone, manual therapy involves skilled, passive movements—such as joint mobilizations, manipulations, and soft tissue techniques—to target specific areas of restriction or pain. By physically manipulating the musculoskeletal system, we can help restore normal movement patterns, decrease inflammation, and stimulate your body’s natural healing response. Whether you are recovering from an acute injury or managing chronic stiffness, our precise manual techniques provide the "jump-start" your body needs to move more freely and without discomfort.

Dry Needling

Dry Needling is a highly effective technique used to "switch off" painful muscle knots, known as myofascial trigger points. This approach is particularly powerful for treating persistent tension in the muscles allowing for faster recovery and improved range of motion when combined with your broader treatment plan.
